When I think of Polyfoam, the image of a well-organized and diversified family business immediately comes to mind. I am proud of the family atmosphere here and the willingness to help that comes from everyone. Our ‘open door’ culture with the boss helps to make everyone feel at ease. It also makes me proud that we work with large companies and even produce for the German government and other well-known global companies.
Polyfoam is a down-to-earth company with an excellent image in the outside world – whether with customers, suppliers or competitors. Here I have the opportunity for personal and professional development, whether through further training or, as in my case, by completing a dual study program. Our extensive technical knowledge and diverse range of machinery enable us to always deliver high quality with a high degree of variability. The short distances between departments such as sales, purchasing and production allow us to respond quickly and efficiently to our customers’ needs.
During your first month at Polyfoam, you will receive a comprehensive introduction to all departments connected to production. You will quickly get to know all your colleagues, processes and products. Our flexible working hours in administration allow you to start between 6:45 am and 9:00 am and finish work at 3:00 pm (Monday to Thursday) or 1:00 pm (Friday). Overtime can be converted into vacation days, and on some bridge days we close the entire company so that everyone benefits equally.
Polyfoam employs over 80 people in various departments such as work preparation, quality assurance, administration, production and shipping. Family values and human cooperation are deeply rooted in our company. We are very service-oriented and invite customers and employees to contribute to the continuous improvement of our service. Our motto ‘Happy employees, satisfied customers’ shows that we pursue common goals and always strive to increase customer satisfaction.
